I used Luxury Travel Vietnam for a fabulous trip to Vietnam & Cambodia in April. They were top-notch! We have all traveled extensively and are familiar with some of the best "luxury" travel companies worldwide and we got the same kind of "luxury" package any of them would have offered at a far better price with Luxury Travel Vietnam. I found them on internet too and was a bit concerned, but they were so prompt in getting me anything I needed via email, that I booked the trip and I'm so glad I did. They are an excellent company, were on top of everything at all times.
Only hitch in our 15 day trip was a flight that was cancelled by Vietnam Air....and even that didn't phase them. They immediately had us re-routed and re-booked and when that resulted in an unexpected layover in Ho Chi Minh City...they arranged to have a guide meet us at airport and do an impromptu city tour instead of having to sit at airport for 3 hours. Definitely use them...you won't be sorry!
Per previous poster about why travel in 'luxury'...to each his/her own on travel style preference, I say. We've gone around the world and stayed in everything from 5 star to no-star. Just depends on what's available and where you are. If you want to meet people and experience local life...you can still do that AND stay in a nice hotel!
Luxury Travel Vietnam offered a wide range of hotels...not just the 5 star.
You'll have a great trip - it's a beautiful country with wonderful people.

Thank you – all the best to you and your team, too.
We had an absolutely amazing time in Vietnam in October – you can be very proud of your country and your fellow countrymen and women who we found to be amongst the friendliest people we have ever met. The trips you organised for us were exactly as you had promised; clean cars, always on time at the agreed meeting points, great itineraries, good guides (especially in Ban Me Thout) ) – we really, really enjoyed it! Despite your prices being at the very, very top end of anything that’s on offer, I would strongly recommend you to people you don’t mind paying over the odds in return for an outstanding experience. Thanks again.
I am still somewhat bemused though that during the booking process you offered a complete package including the 4 nights at the Majestic hotel, transports to and from HCMC airport and the internal flights as well as the 3 trips we ended up booking at a price that was significantly higher than booking the individual parts independently. Never mind.

Enjoy your Luxury Holiday in Vietnam for Less
If you`re thinking of travelling to Vietnam there are plenty of things that you should consider before booking online. For one, it`s an exciting time to visit the country because for approximately 30 years the commercial nature of the Western world had little influence there. It is only recently that the Vietnamese culture is beginning to change and tourism is beginning to bring increasing amounts of financial prosperity to the traditional charm and cultural heritage of Vietnam.
Communism is still the political force which governs the country and the country itself stretches along the Eastern Coast of the Indochina Peninsula. There are countless interesting places to explore, from untouched beaches and ancient rainforests to waterfalls, caves and water-hut villages. Then there`s the cities such as Ho Chi Minh which is full of light and energy. Flights from the UK take 13 hours to reach Vietnam so it`s better to visit for longer stays and a number of impressive luxury hotels have been built to fuel the blossoming tourism trade.
Affordable Luxury
Many hotels in Vietnam provide services that you may expect from international 4 star businesses. There could be the facility to rent bicycles, for example, which is an ideal way to get around some of the villages and citie. There are often other extra services available at Vietnamese hotels, such as swimming pools, spas (containing massage rooms, saunas and beauty therapies) a gym, a golf course and child care.
Many hotels also have tennis courts and beautiful gardens. One well-equipped `resort hotel` is the Ana Mandara Resort in Nha Trang which includes all of these services and is set in a breathtaking setting, close to the sea and Nha Trang village. The village has markets, fishing excursions and water sports. There are many more hotels which are just as incredible dotted all over Vietnam and they`re affordable too with many 5 day bed and breakfast packages starting at under £500 per person.
Selecting the Best Hote
When selecting a hotel in Vietnam do plenty of homework online to ensure you have the facilities you`ll need and that there are plenty of things to do in the area. Depending on your personality you might prefer to be close to the beach and able to explore the natural landscape or want to be closer to a city to sample the modern Vietnamese culture and attractions.
Ha Long City for example is commercial and has a high concentration of office buildings but it is also famous for its stunning temples, pagodas and sites of historical interest. Hue City is similarly developed but a more meditative place with bustling markets and delicious traditional Vietnamese cooking can be sampled in the many restaurants there.
For those seeking sights that will keep your camera clicking and a touch of arts Hanoi City is a must see. It is the sacred land of Vietnam and there are many famous places to visit there including but not limited to: The Temple of Literature, President Ho Chi Minh`s Mausoleum, the Hanoi Opera House and One Pillar Pagoda.
All of these areas and other regions of Vietnam have luxury hotels nearby and many of these hotels are linked to international brands providing you with some comfort and familiarity. With so many wonderful services available and so many places to explore Vietnam is a truly magnificent holiday destination.
Remember though, although there are plenty of cheap hotel in Vietnam you should still check out online reviews for them before you travel; the quality of accommodation in Vietnam does still vary widely |

Dear Mr Hung
Alistair and I would like to thank you for putting together a fantastic trip of Vietnam .
We thoroughly enjoyed each and every aspect of the trip and were impressed by the great service offered by Luxury Travel and everyone from drivers to guides that represented your company en route.
Thank you too for meeting us at the Metrolpole in Hanoi and for the lovely gift - it was most unexpected but greatly appreciated. We loved our time in your country and one day hope to return again. When that time comes, Luxury Travel will be the agent we book with again.
Regards
Kim and Alistair McAdam (from South Africa ) |
