Day 1: Arrival Pakse – Tadlo (L)

On arrival at Pakse Airport, you will be met and transferred to Tadlo, passing many charming villages and rolling hills.  The deep contrast between the lush, green vegetation and the red surface of basaltic soil is an incredible thing to see as you pass along. Champassak is a wonderful mix of architectural jewels. In a very small area, it is possible to see, side by side, typical Laotian wooden houses built on stilts, exquisite colonial villas, Lao-Chinese shop houses, and buildings from more recent interpretation. There is even a beautiful Catholic church, unfortunately still little-known from visitors. Champassak is one of the most attractive in Laos as it offers culture, nature, history, and the dramatic setting of the Mekong River Pham Ha, CEO of Luxury Travel Group Ltd.

While Laos does not offer a coastline or famed beaches, it does have 4,000 islands in the south, as well as the Khonephabangeng Falls, the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia. Apart from the 4,000 islands, southern Laos’ main attraction is the temple of Wat Phou, a World Heritage listed site, in Champasak. You fly to Parse and your trip will start and end in Champassak, which is one of the most attractive Laos has to offer in terms of culture, nature, history, not to mention the majesty of the Mekong Riversaid Toon, Tour Manger, Luxury Travel Ltd Laos
