This trip is designed to discover the very best of the Mekong in comfort and style. You will spend 4 days meandering the complex maze of the Mekong Delta giving you insight into the life on the mighty Mekong River and its tributaries. You will be taken along the vast network of canals and tributaries to see how people go about their daily lives. Gliding on the busy waterways we have the opportunity to interact with the local people at the floating markets, eat tropical fruits in lush orchards, look into the art of Bonsai, and ship tea on a typical boathouse and taste the delightful local cuisine.

Day 1: Saigon- Vinh Long - Can Tho (-,L,-)

8:30 am, we meet our guide in the lobby of our hotel. We then drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Vinh Long for a cruise and a visit to the local markets and orchard gardens. From here we will get back to Vinh Long where we will board our vehicle for the drive to the heart of Mekong Delta: Can Tho.

Overnight stay in Victoria Resort Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho (B)

After breakfast we enjoy a cruise on Hau Lady Boat Cruise to enjoy the morning floating market Cai Rang. Here each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it be pumpkins, pineapples, sugar cane etc, and in order that the customer knows where to shop, they hang that item from the highest part of the boat.

The afternoon is free so you may enjoy the most comfortable property in the Mekong Delta: Victoria Resort Can Tho.

Day 3: Can Tho- Chau Doc (B)

Leave Can Tho, we drive to Chau Doc. The amazing journey takes us 4 hours to get there. Chau Doc town is situated right on the Basac River, close to the Cambodian border.

In the afternoon, we visit a bonsai garden and head up Sam Mountain for a great sunset and a birds-eye view over the rice paddy fields toward Cambodia.

We spend one night in Victoria Hotel Chau Doc.

Day 4: Chau Doc- HCMC (B)

Take your time to enjoy a buffet breakfast or finish the last pages of that novel before heading back to HCMC.

Notes: You can cross the Vietnam border to Phnom Penh, Cambodia by waterway by securing a Cambodia visa beforehand. and paying an additional 60 US$ to use the Victoria Express Boat.
