We will continue to the delightful town of Hoi An, approximately 30km away, check in and stay overnight.

Day 6: Hoi An (B/L)

From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics.

Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. We enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Hoi An is now one of five UNESCO-designated World Heritage sites in Vietnam. In the afternoon, you are free to meander in Hoi An, unwind at Cua Dai Beach or take an optional half day trip to My Son Cham Ruins. You will stay overnight in Hoi An.

The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. You will enjoy a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. Day 9: Cu Chi tunnels and Cao Dai Temples (B/L)

This morning you drive to the Cao Dai Temples in Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border, is home to the unique Cao Dai sect, whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name a few. The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. The Cao Dai Temple at Tay Ninh has been described as the Walt Disney World of the East. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.

On the way back, we will go to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life was like during the U.S.-Vietnam War. You will stay o vernight in HCMC.

You will wake up to the sounds of the Mekong River welcoming a new day and take a boat trip to join in the Cai Rang floating market, one of the most bustling floating markets in the Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space to sell their goods. After sampling local fruits, our guide will escort the guests back to the hotel through myriad canals. You will have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Ho Chi Minh City for an overnight.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Riep (B/L)

In the morning you will take a flight to Siem Riep in Northern Cambodia to visit the fabulous ancient sites of Angkor , one of the wonders of the world. The grandeur of this bygone civilization is truly astounding. Visit Angkor Thom (or "Great City") which is in some ways even more spectacular than the colossal Angkor Wat, as it has nearly disappeared into the jungle.

At Siem Reap International airport, you will be met and transferred to your comfortable hotel for check in (subject to availability). The tour starts by visiting the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site and famous for its beauty and splendour.
