The Mandalay Restaurant, the main restaurant at The Governor's Residence, is located in the original part of this former Residence of the Kaya Governor, overlooking the private garden and serves delicious Asian and European cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Discover the exotic local cuisine of Myanmar, with its subtly blended spices and flavours. Alternatively, select one of the Western specialities from the menu created by our expatriate Chef, offering both European classics and French cuisine with a local twist.

Kipling Bar

Named after the countries most celebrated advocate, the Kipling bar offers a relaxing atmosphere and a chance to reflect on somewhere 'quite unlike any land you know'.

The Kipling Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a traditional long iced drink, a local beer or something more indulgent!
