Day 1. Arrive in Yangon (D)
Warmly welcome on arrive in Yangon International airport. Transfer to your hotel. Your sightseeing begin by visiting Kyaukhtatgyi Buddha - houses the fourth largest colossal reclining Buddha. Continue to visit the National Museum after photo stop at City Hall ; High Court in the heart of Yangon.
Early evening you will visit the Strand jetty to witness the daily life of the local people followed by visiting the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, landmark of Myanmar and one of the greatest wonders of the world. Enjoy buffet dinner at the Karaweik Hall restaurant in the shape of the Myanmar mythical bird standing in water. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon – Bago - Yangon (B/L)
Today you visit Bago - an ancient capital of the Mon Kingdom. Bago is famous for its traditional cheroot industry. Upon arrive in Bago you start your excursion by a visit to ShweMawDaw pagoda, the tallest pagoda in Myanmar with a height of 114 meters; the imposing Kanbawzathari Palace of King Bayintnaung ( 1551-1581 AD). Continue your tour with Kyaikpun four gigantic Buddha images all sitting posture facing the four cardinal points of the compass. On the way back to Yangon you can stop at the Karzine traditional medicine village. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 3: Yangon (B/L)
In the morning you continue Yangon city tour visiting the Nagar Glass factory where you can experience old methods of making glass figuring by experienced workers and Lawka Chanthar world biggest marble Buddha and royal white elephant.
After lunch at local restaurant, you have time for shopping in the Bogyoke market formerly "Scott market", where you can get a wide range of Myanmar handicraft, jewelries, fabrics, lacquer wares or to the famous MK gems shop where the qualities of gems are displayed separately in eight different decorated show rooms. Myanmar is the world number one producer of precious stones. Overnight in Yangon .
Day 4: Yangon – Thanlyin - Yangon (B/L)
Today you will take a drive to Thanlyin (Syriam). The city used to be the Portuguese colonial during the 16th century and famous sea port in the region. En route you will get to see lotus covered lakes and small wooden houses in traditional village style . Observe the Kyauk Tan Yele pagoda , situated in the middle of the river. You can enjoy feeding the huge catfish around the pagoda. Return to Yangon for late lunch. You have the option to photo stop at the national races village where you can observe the different cultures of Myanmar 's main national races without having to travel throughout the country. Free and easy for the rest of the day. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 5: Yangon Departure (B)
There are no activities planned for today. You enjoy your free time until being transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
