Islanda Village Resort basks in the sunlight next to the beach on a small island not far from Krabi town, offering a peaceful haven for those who want to get away from the stress of today’s busy world. Built in the style of a southern Thai fishing village with rows of stylish bungalows facing the Andaman Sea, Islanda is infused with easy going, timeless southern culture that encourages guests to relax and enjoy a serene vacation.

It is an ideal place for nature lovers - lie on the beach in the sun, listen to the waves and birds singing, breathe in refreshing sea air, kayak along the gentle coastal waters and discover nearby mangrove forests with their fantastic birds and animals. Islanda shares Klang Island with three small Thai-Muslim villages whose residents have a simple lifestyle of fishing, farming and making local products such as colorful batik material and Thai sweets. We encourage our guests to visit the villagers and learn something of their lifestyle. For those who want to experience southern culture, Islanda organizes activities such as batik painting, clam digging, cooking classes and lessons in Thai boxing or takraw.

Islanda is best suited for couples and families who would like to unwind, relax, enjoy simple things and take a temporary break from the world outside. Most of all we offer a sanctuary with gentle activities, yet close enough to Krabi’s many attractions for those who want to experience a little more of this wonderful province.

Accommodation

Each of our 30 bungalows faces the sea, simple in design yet complete with modern comforts to ensure a serene vacation for all our Guests. A vacation that envisions the simple life besides the sea.Islanda's holiday bungalow, clustered around a wide stretch of the beach, each facing the sea and built on traditional stilts of a typical southern Thai fishing village. They are spacious, simple in style, yet tastefully decorated and filled with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable, enjoyable vacation lifestyle.

Of every 70 sq m. airy bungalow, each contains an air conditioned master bedroom, a private bathroom, a multi-purpose room that can be used for dining, living or sleeping, plus a large veranda to enjoy the sunsets. There is even space under your bungalow fitted with hammocks to relax away from the direct sun. And for film entertainment, Guests can borrow DVDs and CDs from the Resort's library to watch in their in-room entertainment system.  An open air Thai style bathroom is ideal for having a fill-stream hot shower under the moonlight at the end of the day.

All bungalows are mostly identical for space, and most of the facilities, each of the bungalow types were designed to match each Guest's desire and are all guaranteed to have the most stunning views of the gulf of Krabi. 

Ocean Front Bangalow

Ocean Front bungalow, lies very close to the beach, you can even feel the waves splashing during the high tide, the panoramic scene from the sea deck ( terrace) is one of the best in Krabi , the bathtub is intentionally placed on each balcony for a fresh bathing sensation during the day or a candlelit spa bathe for the romantic nights.

Ocean View Bungalow

Ocean View Bungalow, lies widely behind the pool or close enough to ensure the best views possible. Each room has the connection at the balcony to accommodate and host the bigger family Guests with the right privacy for each room, or even the nice room to enjoy the comfort stay.

Ocean Breeze Bungalow

Ocean Breeze Bungalow, is the highest peak at the last row. This height makes it magnificent to have the nice sea view from the terrace and the peaceful Mangrove scene in the back. The spacious ground floor is perfect to rest on a hammock, reading books, taking naps during timeouts.

Relax in the sun, swim at the beachside swimming pool, line with sun loungers and parasols, or enjoy the soothing popular Jacuzzi. For extra relaxation, our gentle Therapists will pamper your body with a selection of massage therapies at the Spa. If you have a need to contact the outside world, the Resort lobby offers a broadband WiFi Internet connection and mobile phone on satellite. Otherwise, stop by the Library, select from a wide range of books, magazines, DVDs and audio CDs, or simply chill out at our “Blue Bubble Bar” for your choice of cocktails to join the breathtaking sunset scene

Ocean Catch

The freshest catches of seafood from the nearby fishing village are used to prepare wonderfully creative dishes – southern Thai and International style – served throughout the day at the Sea Breeze Restaurant. If you prefer dining with your family in the cozy atmosphere of your bungalow, our Private Dining Trolley Service delivers your choice of meals directly to your door upon request. In the evenings, Guests can relax over snacks, creative cocktails and cool music at the Bar.
