The Peninsula Hotel is a luxurious riverside establishment standing proud on the banks of the Chayo Phraya River. With the hotel’s reputation for superb attention to detail and service, this fairly new 37 story hotel has established itself as one of the finest in the city.

The Peninsula Bangkok has 370 luxurious and spacious guestrooms and suites furnished in a magnificent classical style, including the 3,890 sq ft (364 sq m) Peninsula Suite, four Theme Suites, and 60 one-bedroom suites.

Grand Deluxe Room:

Grand Deluxe Rooms are located on the 9th floors & above and have Chao Phraya River views. They are fitted with a king size bed or 2 single beds. Bathrooms have a separate bathtub and shower.

An upbeat contemporary feel goes hand in hand with award-winning Mediterranean food. Jesters has upper and lower level seating with views across the Chao Phraya and the city skyline.

Mei jiang

Fine Cantonese dining in Bangkok comes no more elegantly than at Mei Jiang, a serene and elegant restaurant with a resident Chinese chef who has devised banquets for royalty and heads of state.The interiors of Mei Jiang are reminiscent of an exquisite Chinese teak box.

Sliding lattice panels on the windows open to reveal a tranquil pool, a surprise element reflecting the strong role of water in Thai culture. Colors emphasize organic, earth tones, with blues and greens transposing the lush landscape and surrounding waters that can be viewed from the restaurant.

An adjacent area may be converted into five private dining rooms. Mei Jiang is located on the ground floor.

Thiptara

Nestled on the bank of the Chao Phraya River under a majestic Banyan tree, The Peninsula Bangkok's new Thiptara Thai restaurant offers authentic Thai home-style food in a comfortable outdoor residential style.

Thiptara literally means "heaven on the water," a blessed place where all worries disappear. Based on the concept of a relaxing evening at a Thai home, recreated with legendary "Peninsula Service Style," five traditional Thai salas (hand-crafted teakwood pavilions from Ayudhya) have been harmoniously placed around an antique water wall on a wood deck amongst lush tropical foliage, bridges, and canals to recreate an intimate Thai house compound, lit by the glow of candles and bamboo torches, while live Thai classical Khim music plays in the background.

River Cafe & Terrace

River Cafe & Terrace lets you create your own international culinary experience by choosing your own combination of flavors and ambience. You can decide on eating either buffet-style or a la carte from the large variety of local and international fare. River Cafe & Terrace updated buffet selection offers an impressive assortment of mouth-watering gastronomy from around the world in a refined and appetizing manner.

Individually presented portions at the indoor stations, as well as the à la minute prepared dishes in the Asian and Western outdoor open kitchens, all ensure constant freshness. River Cafe & Terrace buffet items are guaranteed to have been prepared within the last 10 to 15 minutes.
