The newly-opened Xayoh Riverside is definitely the pick of the upmarket guesthouse options in Vang Vieng. While the standard rooms are not large, they are beautifully done. All rooms have bathroom with hot shower, while deluxe rooms have a bathtub and windows looking on to the river and mountains. Deluxe bedrooms are also bigger, and guests are showered with extras such as special shampoo and lotion.
The decor is gorgeous and the furniture lovely, as is the general design of the grounds. All rooms are air-con and boast large glass windows leading out onto small but well-placed balconies with stunning views. A restaurant is located by the river, with open air tables. The menu is the same as. |
