"I travel to Hanoi every month and I must say that this is for me the best hotel now. Great rooms 43 sqm (book the Westlake view) with private balcony. The French Restaurant Cafe du Lac is overlooking the Westlake and you feel like on vacation so peacefull. Frendly service and the Diplomat Lounge has every night Piano music. I have stayed at hotels around the world, from tokyo to beverly hills, australia to italy, and have never experienced better service than what i got at the intercontinental hanoi-westlake. This place is wonderful. From the moment I walked into the lobby, i was greeted by several people with smiles. Some even knew me by name -- how, i don't know. but it goes to show they don't miss a detail here. the rooms are beautifully decorated. the club lounge is the best i've ever seen with tons of food and plenty of smiles. i strongly suggest it. for 50 usd a night, you get breakfast, drinks in the afternoon, free internet (in your room), and the pressing of 3 suits,...well worth the price. this hotel goes out of its way and that says a lot for me. its a great place to return back to after touring hanoi. frankly, i didn't want to leave this place, but i will certainly be back. P.S. I SUGGEST THE LOTUS SUITE ON THE 4TH FLOOR..I THINK ITS ROOM 442...FANTASTIC AND HUGE! Los Angeles, USA.
