From the very early XX century, Hotel La Fregate- under the management of Mrs. Dinh- a former professor & her French husband –Mr. Tules Forset, an-eighty –seated restaurant & 13 hotel rooms was on the operation then.

April 1976, the Government decided to change the company into the name of Khanh Hoa Tourism Company. And by Jan 03 rd 1999, they decided to run the company in equitization, Thang Loi Joint Stock Company was born with the operational capital was then reach up to 2.131.000.000.

Then, from 1966 Mrs. Dinh handed over the Hotel to her niece, and after the 1 st  renovation, the Hotel took the Grand Opening with 30 Hotel rooms in 1968. Until 1972, another renovation made the Hotel turn to one of the most beautiful Hotel at that time in Nha Trang City then and the main Guests of the hotel were French Authorities, Foreign Constructors, and business man.. This is the time Hotel La Fregate was still under the Government management.

Due to the Global Finalcial Crisis, Thang Loi stopped to develop , up until 2006, Thang Loi Board of Chairman decided to re- constructed and upgrade the Hotel to a Four Star Hotel, Thang Loi signed the contract with an agency to design and renovate the Hotel from 68 rooms to 200 rooms.

March 2008, Thang Loi  continued the completion of the hotel at the same address 04 Pasteur, located at the heart of the most beautiful city of VN- Nha Trang, just 2 minutes walking to the seaside, and 5 minutes walking to the biggest shopping center Cho Dam. The Hotel includes 199 rooms & Suites, 03 Restaurants with maximum capacity of 450 seats, 03 conference rooms with maximum capacity of 450 seats, beside, the hotel is also well decorated with luxury Spa, Bar, Pool, Entertainment
