We just completed our 4 night stay - our first visit to Vietnam. The hotel surpassed expectations in every detail. We booked a Club Floor room and were upgrated to a studio room which was very large and well appointed. The service was really fantastic - in the resturants, bars and Club lounge. We had the buffet dinner in their Saigan Cafe one evening which was $US30 pp which we thought was OK for HCMC but we not even realise it included a free flow of wine which made it excellent value. I am a frequent traveler, for business and pleasure, to Vietnam. I also travel frequently in the US and in Europe and stay in many fine hotels. The Sheraton Saigon is an excellent hotel. The hotel is a new high rise (backing onto to older Caravelle) with state-of-the-art facilities, a beautiful pool, health club and tennis court and extremely nice rooms and suites with great views of the city and the river. The hotel is in the best location in Saigon. I do not consider staying in any other hotel when in Saigon, and I refer all of my friends and colleagues to this hotel. Los Angeles, USA.

Amazing. This is a wonderful property. The room I got, an upgrade to a larger room, was outstanding. Very high ceilings, the best bathroom I've ever seen in a Sheraton, excellent service, location could not be better. One thing I would recommend for Americans is to take more USD than you would normally carry for overseas travel. Everyone takes USD. Makes any transaction easier.
